How Awful is This?

Babies born on the same day in the same hospital were switched at birth and found out 50 years later. I would be so sad if I were one of them. Or if I were one of their mothers.

  1. It is very sad. When Pam was in the hospital, having delivered our first child in 1980, the nurse brought our son to her room to be breastfed not too long after his birth. (Back then they didn't let the baby stay in the room with Mom.)

The nurse brought in a baby, and Pam said, "This is not my baby!" Because Pam had had a C-section, she was on pain meds, and the nurse tried to calm her down.

But she was right! They had brought some other woman's baby to her at feeding time. PAM KNEW! Even though she was a young, first-time Mother, loopy from pain-killers, (and other stuff I'll tell you about another time...nyuk!) ...and the baby was the same race, etc. SHE KNEW!

You really have to wonder how this kind of thing could have happened...because Mommas know! Hmmmm....
